JIRSD accepts articles under the following categories:
Research Articles: Not exceeding 6,000 words.
Research articles report research results of major significance. They should include an abstract not exceeding 300 words, an introductory paragraph, and brief subheadings.
General Articles: Not exceeding 4,000 words
General articles discuss current trends in innovation and research in a field that would be of interest to readers outside the field. The articles should include an abstract not exceeding 250 words, introductory paragraph, brief subheadings at appropriate places, illustrations that will help a general reader, and references.
Review Articles: Not exceeding 8,000 words
Review articles are expected to survey and discuss current developments in a field. They should be well focused and organized, and innovative in their presentation.
Research Communication: Not exceeding 2,000 words
Research communications contain important new findings that are novel and of fairly broad interest. They should include a brief abstract and an introductory paragraph and should NOT be broken up under subheads.
Book Review: Not exceeding 2,000 words
Book reviews bring forward a critical analysis of books themed on research and innovation for inclusive development.
News: Not exceeding 800 words
News may cover important academic and innovation themed events or any other news of interest to researchers in general.
Correspondence: Not exceeding 600 words
Correspondence includes letters that are of general interest to scientists and technical comments, including those on articles or communications published in this Journal within the previous year. Short letters are preferred. Letters may be reviewed and edited.
Opinion: Not exceeding 1,000 words and including maximum one display item
Opinion articles present views on issues related to research, innovation and academic discourses.
